Thursday!!!!! One more day of work left!!!

Last night was another adventure... but in the rain.... I felt like a kid again!
Erin and I went to the market at Link Rd. And yes for the most part it is outside and yes the rain does not stop the work!!! We both needed to purchase another bag to bring our things home in.... don't worry the bag isn't that big.... It was raining so hard and I was wet to the bone less than 5 minutes into it! But I got somethings that I have been planing to by since we arrived. That was great!
Today at work I spoke to the HR department.... nothing really new because I just finished my last HR class at school, the meeting was very smooth though he is hard to understand at times...
Work is slowing down.... and all the department meetings are finished.

Wednesday....

Tuesday night we went shopping in Andrei west.... this was an adventure because we met back at the hotel (Mya Erin and myself) then took the train...... during rush hour..... when we arrive at the train we did not pay enough attention to where the ladies we standing.... and when the first train came we were too far away to be able to lady car..... we almost made it but that would have involved running and jumping..... we were not quite ready for that! then when we got on the next train 2 minutes later... there was a lot of people.... then the next stop just as any people got on !!!!!!!!!!!!!! there must have been 100 people in the one little area.... (2.5 meters wide.... 6 meters long) crazy I know..... getting one was easy.... getting off the train was another story... first you have to figure out what side to get off then have to push your way to get to the door then push your way off! So we asked a girl what side and yes it was the other side of the train and you have to imagine there was so many people that you did not need to hold on because it would have been impossible to fall! I was afraid that I was going to fall when I got off then get trampled by all the people getting off and one because no one would stop there is no way....
So yes that is the good story for today! Sarah

Tuesday!!!! 3 more days of work left!!!!

Today Mumbai was in the Calgary newspaper because of the weather how cool is that????
And yes I forgot to mention the rain.... oh the rain it is so cool you have no idea how hard it rain here, I cannot get over it! When it rains it pours! Well here at least!!!!
I must have been over tired last night because I was unable to sleep, it was not a good thing because turning the TV on is out of the question, when there is two other people fast asleep in the room then it was raining so going for a walk didn't happen either... then I went to use the computer and yes when in India the computer is broken... and they say Mumbai is the new silicon valley.... sure thing...
when to sex and the city last night it was great.... Anderi has a better theatre though... Tonight we are going to go shopping to pick up the last things on our wish list! hopefully we can find them! Well I will be back here tomorrow!

Last week of work

The weekend was amazing! seeing the Taj Mahal was fantastic and the fort in Agra and all the other sites we saw it was great. We were so busy and always going somewhere having the bus was awesome, not having to worry about where to go and what not! And the fact that it was pre-paid was great because we didn't have to worry about paying for meals!!!! Just spending money! Dillie Hat - the market was great it was nice to be able to shop and not have anyone hassling you and not a lot of people were there so that was great!
Today at work was extremely tiring.... we didn't arrive back at the hotel till about 4 am..... Had a meeting with the products guy and learned about that side of everything.... they do a lot of outsourcing which was surprising because they always mention how they are vertically integrated.....
Tonight we have a guest speaker so that should be good. And yes that is about all for now just rapping things up here!

Thursday is the new friday!

well today it not as hot as it has been its still hot but not too bad.
It is extremely windy and there are clouds dark ones! The rain is coming!
There were a number a guys out side making a roof over the driveway beside the building for the rain so the guys in the kitchen can still cook. (most of the prep work is done outside...) Today I am a little tired but last night was not as crazy at one might think.... just had dinner at the hard rock had 3 drinks that was it! I can't believe it...... then everyone paid and left.... I still hadn't finished my drink..... but Candace stayed with me!
Today we have had no meetings we were supposed to have one but that did not happen so I am just sitting in the office working on my paper..... passing time.....
Tomorrow we leave for Delhi I am so excited! and then only 5 days of work! woo hoo

Wednesday...... My Birthday

Well today we talked to the legal department which was a little boring and hard to understand but the bottom line is he sees over all the contracts..... and the export department he was really interesting and spends lots of his time in Germany working there.....

Last night on the way home from work the taxi driver almost ran over a guy walking across the street..... so the pedestrian I guess said so colorful words..... and the taxi driver stopped and got out and they argued for quite sometime then they started actually fighting in the middle of the road full on punching each other...... yes I know crazy! by the end there was 12 guys splitting them up and me sitting in the back set going 'hum whats going on????'......

went to Kalaba last night and did some shopping...... trying to get some gifts for people...... I am half way done! Mom and Rachel are the easiest out of everyone!

My birthday lunch was great...... went down the road and state with 2 Indian guys and 1 girl who was dressed to the 9s she had a really nice sari on..... it was rather funny because the men had an argument over who had to sit beside me.... I have a good laugh! but yeah that's about it! we will see what tonight brings

Today was good we went around to some of the departments and talked to them....
There was alot of time spend doing not much today just waiting for people to talk to us but it is all good going to Dehli on friday!!!!!! byebye
